1.304: It is a versatile stainless steel, widely used in the manufacture of equipment and components that require good overall performance (corrosion resistance and formability).
2. 301: exhibits significant work hardening during deformation and is used in a variety of applications where higher strength is required.
3. 302: is basically a variant of 304 stainless steel with a higher carbon content which allows it to achieve higher strength by cold rolling.
4.302B: It is a stainless steel with high silicon content and high resistance to high temperature oxidation.
5.303, 303Se: Free-cutting stainless steel, containing sulfur and selenium, respectively. This kind of stainless steel net is used for applications requiring high cutting and high surface finish, 303Se stainless steel is also used to make parts that require heating. Because that kind of stainless steel has good hot workability under these conditions.
6. 304L: 304 stainless steel variant with low carbon content for applications requiring soldering. The lower carbon content minimizes the precipitation of carbides in the heat affected zone near the weld, which may cause intergranular corrosion (welding corrosion) in certain environments.
7.304N: It is a nitrogen-containing stainless steel. Nitrogen is added to increase the strength of the steel.
8.305,384: This kind of stainless steel contains high nickel, its work hardening rate is low, suitable for various occasions requiring high cold formability.
9.308: It is used to make electrodes.
11. 316,317: That stainless steel contains aluminum and is much better than 304 stainless steel in marine and chemical industrial environments. Among them, 316 stainless steel variants include low carbon stainless steel 316L, nitrogen high strength stainless steel 316N and high sulfur content free cutting stainless steel 316F.
