We should differentiate the quality of stainless steel wire mesh in the following aspects according to ISO 9044 standards:
1. Materials: You should test the materials with special tools(XRF handheld unit) or liquid. And mainly test the Nickle and chromium percentage composition.
2.Width & Length: The tolerance of Width & Length shall be the larger of ±0.5% or ±1 Pitch.
3. Weaving: The weaving style should exactly conform to the customer’s requirements (such as plain weave, twill weave, dutch weave etc.)
4.Flatness: The mesh surface should be flat when is opened. If there is trail after opening, it is not good.
5. Mesh Blemishes: The following are the permissible blemishes per 10m2 according to different mesh counts. If the number exceeds this, it will not be a good mesh.
